Yellow Jacket RV Resort is an exceptionally well-maintained RV Resort managed by our dedicated professional team members and privately owned by the same owners for over 23 years!

Located of the beautiful Suwannee River 10 miles from Hwy 19/98/27 in Old Town on Florida’s west coast, it is just 45 minutes west of Gainesville. The Suwannee River is one of the most undisturbed major rivers in the country, beginning at the Okefenokee Swamp in Georgia and emptying into the Gulf of Mexico, 20 miles down-river from Yellow Jacket RV Resort.

Bordered by the river and the Lower Suwannee River Wildlife Refuge, Yellow Jacket RV Resort is an oasis for those who like to have a true camping experience. We are the ultimate getaway to relax, unwind and enjoy nature. Sitting around your campfire under a star-filled night sky and listening to the sounds of nature will surely put you at peace. Stroll around our ponds with your dogs or let your pets visit the large dog park on tree shaded roads that do not burn their feet. Relax in the heated pool and hot tub surrounded by tropical landscaping. Enjoy the river view and see the sunrise in the mornings or watch the manatees and the big sturgeon jump from the deep water. There is always something to do here.

For your convenience Yellow Jacket RV Resort has several boats for you to rent or bring your own and use our boat ramp free for all our guests. The river gives you a lot of opportunities for boating, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and swimming. Hiking and bicycling are also perfect for this area.

Manatee Springs State Park is only 10 minutes upriver, excellent for swimming, snorkeling and diving. A few restaurants are located right on the river, just 10 miles upstream or 6 miles downstream. Additionally, the Santa Fe River twists a course to the Suwannee and invites you for a fantastic tubing experience.

Yellow Jacket RV Resort has one of a kind RV sites. Every RV site is unique, bordered by bushes and trees for your privacy. Every site is a full hookup site with water, electricity, sewer, cable TV and high-speed internet. Every site comes with its own fire ring also.

Our rental cottages have a modern look and all have standard kitchen equipment, AC/Heat, TV, and high-speed internet. Bring your own linen for the beds and towels for the showers.
